Rise Of The Horde

The year is 853AD, and you are the chief of a village. As chief of this village, it is your duty to defend it from a horde of invaders from across the sea. These savages have pillaged and ransacked all nearby villages and now have their sites on your own. 

Defend your village by sensibly ordering the construction of barracks and archer towers. You will need gold to do so however, so make sure you allow enough funds to purchase gold mines to produce more gold over time.

Also, keep in mind the different enemy types which scouts have identified: Barbarians are simple melee units which will attack your knights and buildings (except gold mines), while archers are ranged units which have the same enemy prioritization as barbarians. 

Watch out for looters however, as these sly thieves only show up once your defensive wall has been destroyed and will only target your gold mines to steal your gold.
